8. Shut down the boiler, close the gas

shut-off valve, remove the pressure

gauge and close test nipple A

with the screw.

9. Open the ga s shut-off valve and

start the boiler.

check)

For balanced flue s ystems tested together with the wall mounted gas fired boil-

er, some authorities waive the requirement for a soundness test (pressure test)

during commissioning by the flue gas inspector.
